The weather was picture perfect for an early spring canoe trip except for strong winds. At another Adirondack lake, two young paddlers died when their canoe capsized. The water temperature this time of year is dangerously cold. Joe and I both paddle small Hornbeck canoes which held their own in this secluded lake.
